CREATIVE, ON PURPOSE.
Brand identities. Illustration. Graphic design.
Three ways to turn a good idea into something worth looking at. Thoughtful concepts, intentional design, and a little personality go into everything I make.
01 — BRAND IDENTITY
Giving good ideas an identity.
I create thoughtful visual identities built around what makes a brand distinct. From the initial idea to a complete visual system, every decision is made with intention and designed to work together.
Logo Design · Visual Identity · Typography · Color Systems · Brand Guidelines · Art Direction
The Process
01 · LET’S TALK
Before I touch a logo, I want to know what makes your brand tick. I’ll dig into your story, audience, goals, competition, and what you want people to feel when they come across your brand.
02 · FIND THE VIBE
This is where the visual world starts coming together. I research, collect inspiration, and build moodboards to establish a few creative directions. Think of it as figuring out where the hell we’re going before hitting
the gas.
03 · MAKE SOME SHIT
Time to design. I sketch, experiment, push ideas around, throw some away, bring some back, and develop the strongest concepts into identities with an actual idea behind them.
04 · SHOW + TELL
I’ll walk you through the strongest concepts and, more importantly, why they work. From there, feedback helps shape the direction until everything starts clicking into place.
05 · BUILD IT OUT
A brand is a hell of a lot more than a logo. Once the core identity is locked in, I build out the typography, color, supporting graphics, imagery, and other pieces that make the whole thing feel like you.
06 · MAKE IT YOURS
Everything gets polished, organized, and packaged into the formats you actually need. You’ll walk away with a visual identity that’s ready to use, not a folder full of mystery files you’re afraid
to touch.
02 — ILLUSTRATION
Making ideas worth looking at.
Illustration is where I started, and it still influences everything I create. I develop custom artwork with personality and purpose, whether it’s supporting a larger brand or standing completely on its own.
Editorial Illustration · Custom Artwork · Campaign Illustration · Character Design · Branded Illustration · Merchandise
The Process
01 · WHAT’S THE IDEA?
Every illustration starts somewhere. Tell me the story, the weird idea, the half-baked thought, or the thing you can see perfectly in your head but have absolutely no idea how to explain. I’ll help figure out the rest.
02 · FIND THE LOOK
I gather references and explore style, tone, composition, and visual inspiration. The goal is to find a direction that feels right for the idea instead of forcing everything into the same style.
03 · PENCIL, PAPER + PLAY
This is where I get loose. I sketch, experiment with compositions, chase interesting ideas, and see what happens. Some ideas work. Some absolutely do not. That’s part of the fun.
04 · LOCK IT IN
The strongest idea gets developed into a more intentional sketch. This is where composition, storytelling, characters, and details get worked out before I commit to the
final artwork.
05 · MAKE IT PRETTY
Once the sketch is approved, I bring that sucker to life. Color, texture, linework, personality, and all the little details that turn a sketch into a finished illustration.
06 · SEND IT OUT INTO THE WORLD
Final artwork gets cleaned up and prepared for wherever it needs to live: print, digital, social, merchandise, campaigns, packaging, or that oddly specific thing you came to me with in the first place.
03 — GRAPHIC DESIGN
Design that looks good and works hard.
From campaigns and print collateral to digital experiences, I create design that communicates clearly and holds up beyond the artboard. My production background means I’m thinking about how something gets made just as much as how it looks.
Campaign Design · Print Collateral · Digital Design · Marketing Materials · Social Content
The Process
01 · WHAT ARE WE SOLVING?
Good design starts with a problem, not a Pinterest board. I want to understand what you’re making, who needs to see it, what it needs to communicate, and what the damn thing actually needs to accomplish.
02 · GET THE GOODS
Copy. Photos. Brand assets. Specs. References. Sizes. Deadlines. All the glamorous stuff. I gather what I need upfront so I can spend less time chasing missing pieces and more time actually designing.
03 · MAKE IT WORK
This is where everything comes together. Typography, imagery, color, hierarchy, composition, and a healthy amount of moving something two pixels and deciding it somehow changed everything.
04 · TALK IT OUT
I’ll share the work, explain the thinking behind it, and get your feedback. Then I refine, adjust, and keep pushing until the design feels right and does what it needs to do.
05 · MAKE IT REAL
This is where my production brain kicks in. I check specs, color, bleeds, resolution, file setup, and all the tiny technical details nobody notices until one of them is wrong.
06 · OUT THE DOOR
One final check and it’s ready to roll. Files get cleaned up, organized, and delivered for print, digital, production, or wherever they’re headed next.
