Divine Smiles Cosmetic Dentistry - Visual identity refresh
Divine Smiles Cosmetic Dentistry is a premium cosmetic dentistry and aesthetics practice offering services ranging from veneers and smile enhancements to facials, Botox, and other spa-like treatments.
The goal was to create an identity that felt luxurious, calm, refined, and welcoming, while still maintaining the trust and professionalism expected from a cosmetic dentistry practice. The brand also needed to resonate with an affluent audience in markets like Mountain Brook and other high-end communities.
The final system was designed to feel equally at home across environmental signage, patient materials, consultation pieces, aftercare products, and hospitality-focused touchpoints.
The ChallenGE
The existing identity relied on thin, delicate forms that became difficult to read at smaller sizes and didn’t consistently support the premium experience the practice wanted to communicate.
The new identity also needed to bring together several sides of the business:
cosmetic dentistry
facial aesthetics and wellness services
a luxury, spa-like patient experience
the organization’s faith-based roots
stronger scalability across print, digital, signage, and branded materials
The challenge was creating a system that felt confident without becoming clinical, soft without becoming overly feminine, and spiritually connected without feeling overtly religious.
The Design Approach
Rather than abandoning the existing identity entirely, I carried one of its most meaningful elements forward.
The star shape from the original logo was simplified and softened by rounding the corners, creating a more modern foundation for the new mark. Inside that shape, I developed a combined symbol that brings together a tooth, the letter D, and a smile.
That gave the identity a way to honor its faith-based roots while making the visual language feel more contemporary, distinctive, and appropriate for a luxury cosmetic dentistry and wellness brand.
